Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processes for up to 200 employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. 2. Handle all payroll-related tasks such as tax filings, wage garnishments, leave of absence payments, and year-end reporting. 3. Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance. 4. Act as a liaison between the company and external auditors and manage payroll and HR audits. 5. Work closely with the HR team to align HR and payroll policies and procedures. 6. Manage employee benefits programs and handle benefits inquiries to ensure rapid and accurate resolution. 7. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. 8. Handle HR-related paperwork, including employment contracts, new hire guides, and exit interviews. 9. Provide HR consulting services to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, and labor relations. Qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll and HR within the manufacturing industry. 2. Relevant HR or Payroll certifications (e.g., CPP- Certified Payroll Professional). 3. Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes. 4. Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations. 5. Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation. 6. Outstanding organizational and time-management skills. 7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. 8. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; familiarity with HRIS and payroll software is a plus. 9. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. 10.
