active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time physical
therapist position is available starting April 20, 2026, through
June 5, 2026, serving seven schools ranging from preschool through
high school. This contract role is located in Wilmington, NC, and
requires travel throughout the county to provide quality physical
therapy services. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive physical
therapy assessment and treatment plans tailored to student needs.
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to
support student progress. Provide interventions to improve students
functional mobility and participation in school activities.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with
school and regulatory standards. Participate in meetings, including
Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning and review
sessions. Travel among multiple school sites within the county to
reach assigned caseload. Qualifications: Licensed Physical
Therapist with state approval to practice. Experience working with
pediatric populations, preferably in school settings. Strong
communication and collaboration skills for working with educators
and families. Ability to manage multiple sites and adjust schedules
accordingly. Commitment to student-centered care and improving
educational access. Location: Wilmington, NC multiple school sites
