Job Description:
A company is looking for a Reload Design Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Perform core design and analysis activities, including fuel
management and sensitivity studies
Design and analyze new systems to address complex reactor design
challenges
Establish and maintain documentation of analysis results and
neutronic design solutions
Required Qualifications
B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of
experience; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred
Knowledge of nuclear reactor design concepts and engineering code
review
Expertise in core design and analysis, including reactivity
coefficients and uncertainty analysis
Proficiency with nuclear engineering software such as DIF3D, MCNP,
and SCALE
Experience with commercial reactor reload analysis is strongly
preferred
