Senior Director, IT position (Data Platform, Engineering and
Operations) will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our
data capabilities. We're seeking a visionary, hands on leader to
drive the build out of a modern enterprise-wide lake house,
ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and compliance. and
enabling cutting edge analytics solutionsThis role will be leading
a talented team of engineers and architects, fostering a culture of
excellence while balancing speed of delivery with innovation and
operational excellence. This role will also collaborate with cross
functional teams to align data platform, engineering and
operational efforts with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

12+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor's
degree.
--- 7+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
--- 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction
with senior leadership (e.g., VP level and above).Preferred
Qualifications:--- Master's degree in an IT-related field.Principal
Duties and Responsibilities:--- Provides guidance and directs the
management of business requirements and/or solutions across
multiple business and IT domains to meet business, functional, and
non-functional requirements.
--- Oversees business delivery and enforcement and the development
of requirements for process or system solutions spanning multiple
business domains by consulting with stakeholders and directing IT
teams.
--- Networks with colleagues across the organization as well as
with external partners to gain insight, ideas, and connections.
--- Identifies and promotes a unifying vision throughout the
organization with associated day-to-day goals and creates a climate
in which people want to contribute.
--- Communicates performance expectations and monitors and
evaluates performance of members and managers of team to ensure
plans are met.
--- Unites individuals from different backgrounds, locations, and
cultures to solve major challenges.
--- Empowers teams to stay abreast of industry best practices, and
holds teams accountable to identify sustainable best practices
which align with the strategic and tactical goals of the
organization.
--- Motivates organization to accept change and adapt priorities in
order to meet changing demands.
--- Drives creativity and innovation across the company by
promoting cross-team collaboration, developing creative solutions
to problems, leveraging new technology, and encouraging the same
behavior in others.
--- Develops, coaches, and mentors experienced managers of the team
and provides development assignments.
--- Manages the performance of team members and managers by meeting
regularly with each member to discuss current and future state of
key projects, identifies developmental opportunities, and evaluates
performance based on key metrics.
--- Drives and directs others through the solution design process
by ensuring that solutions are aligned with business strategies and
operational work flow, prioritizes projects based on budgets, and
establishes appropriate budgets for solution design and vendor
service-level agreements.Level of Responsibility:
--- Working independently with no supervision.
--- Providing supervision to other supervisors/managers who are
direct reports.
--- Making decisions that are significant in impact, influencing
overall program or project success, finances, and/or the ability to
meet objectives; Errors are not readily apparent due to the

time, resources, and funds to correct.

and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with
differing knowledge levels. May require strong negotiation and
influence, communication to large groups or high-level
constituents.
--- Substantial amount of financial accountability (e.g., manages a
substantially large budget, is responsible for P&L for a
department or part of the organization).
--- Having a great degree of influence over key organizational
decisions (e.g., is making or directly making key decisions that
have substantial impact on the organization).
--- Completing tasks that require multiple steps that can be
performed in various orders; tasks require simultaneously executing
multiple cognitive abilities and maintaining information in short
or long-term memory.
--- Using deductive and inductive problem solving is required;
multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem;
often information is missing or conflicting; advanced data analysis
and interpretation skills are required.
