Job Description:
A company is looking for a Tax Director who will oversee
federal, state, and international tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file university tax returns and related filings
Provide tax advice and updates to university departments
Conduct tax research and analysis of tax laws and regulations
Required Qualifications
Ten years of tax experience in higher education or public
accounting with a focus on nonprofits
Master's degree in accounting, taxation, or a law degree
CPA license or other professional accounting license and/or
membership in a state bar
Substantial experience in not-for-profit tax return preparation and
review
Technical tax knowledge and excellent research ability
