Requirements: Location / Area: Must be able to work in the
Bellflower, CA area Licensure Requirements: Must have valid, clear

-Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you will prepare medications,
review order lists and create daily workloads. You will also be
responsible for matching compounded products against outgoing
orders, while helping to maintain a clean and efficient lab
environment. Job Responsibilities: Work under the supervision of a
CA licensed Pharmacist and work closely with pharmacy staff to
provide the best patient care. MUST have thorough knowledge of QS1
Software and MUST be able to process patient prescriptions from
start to finish through QS1. Review order list and create daily
workload; match compounded products against outgoing orders.
Perform necessary Pharmacy Technician duties: data entry, filling,
processing insurance, provide excellent customer service to any and
all patients over the phone and in person, assist with inventory
(as needed), handle drop-offs, etc. Effectively use pharmacy
computer system to print -labels, worksheets, and manage
Use proper compounding and labeling techniques, emphasizing
pharmaceutical elegance when making medications.
Prepare medications including emulsions, liquids, powders and

Maintain product inventory by reordering materials/products

When Requested by the pharmacist, ensure that the compounding lab
and related equipment are cleaned and maintained according to

Select proper packaging for compounded products (bottle size, tube

for maintaining safety and managing safety events.
Locate and demonstrate general knowledge of Standard Operating
Use proper garbing techniques in accordance with SOP
When requested by the pharmacist, effectively prepare and organize
all compounded products for pharmacist review.
Should you be requested to work in the clean room, you must have
thorough understanding of USP 795/800 guidelines, medical
terminology and pharmacy calculations.
Must have knowledge of basic principles, theories and laws,
policies and procedures that pertain to compounding.
Work closely with Quality Assurance Department to ensure product
sterility, potency and absence of endotoxins.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and be capable of
wearing all protective wear as required by State Board of Pharmacy
(mask, gloves, gown, hair net, safety goggles etc.). About Rx
