• Float to assigned unit/s: Med surg/Tele or ICU
• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene
• Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients
• Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
• Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
• Answers phones and call lights
• Ensures unit is stocked with supplies
• Assists patient transporter as needed
• Other duties as assignedShifts: Day Shift 0700-1930, including some weekend shiftsQualificationsExperience:
  • 1 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred).Certifications:
    • Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred).
    • Current BCLS certification, required.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
      • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
