Job Description GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Outpatient Surgery for a travel nursing job in Santa Barbara, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Outpatient Surgery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel - Min of 2 yrs of exp in Outpatient setting - Must be able to start on 2./23 - Patient age group: Infants to Geriatrics - Shift: 5x8 variable days (0500- 1330, 0800-1630, 0900- 1730, 1030-1900) - Certs Req: CA RN license, ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA) - Charting: Epic - Recent Cardiac/telemetry experience Patient Diagnosis: Our unit is a combination of outpatient procedural care unit and same day surgery. We admit, recover Phase II patients, and discharge the same day. We care for patients requiring elective procedures in Interventional Radiology, CT, Cath Lab, EP Lab and various outpatient surgeries from the Main OR. Unit Details: We prepare and recover patients having various procedures but do not perform the procedures. We care for patients having cerebral and cardiac angiograms. We admit patients for cerebral interventions who are transferred to ICU post-procedures. Our cardiac procedures include angiograms, PCI, TAVR work-ups, pacemakers, Watchmans, PFO, and ablations. Our IR patients include drain placements, kyphoplasties, embolizations, and paraentesis. CT procedures include biopsies, portacath placements. Surgical patients include urology, orthopedic (total joints), spinal (laminectomies and discectomies) gynecological (hysterectomies, oophorectomies), and general surgeries.
