Job Description:
This role is focused on driving continuous improvements in
supply chain planning across multiple locations. The ideal
candidate will work closely with internal teams and senior
leadership to optimize planning strategies, reduce inventory costs,
and enhance service levels. Client Details My client is a

Description Develop and enhance business processes, serving as the
subject matter expert for planning-related improvements. Implement
proactive planning strategies to reduce inventory holding costs and
increase service levels. Improve demand management and statistical
forecasting processes. Analyze account-level demand data, identify
discrepancies between forecasts and actuals, and adjust plans
accordingly. Lead and coach a planning team, fostering professional
development and performance growth. Define and track key planning
KPIs to monitor operational effectiveness and identify areas for
improvement. Manage planning systems (e.g., John Galt / DM),
including upgrades, training, and metric oversight (e.g., safety
stock, lead times). Maintain balanced inventory across distribution
centers to optimize service levels and minimize carrying and
transportation costs. Lead cross-functional supply chain projects,
managing stakeholders and aligning priorities. Oversee SKU
lifecycle and availability across the supply chain, ensuring
visibility and alignment with internal teams. Facilitate
supply-demand balancing discussions when demand exceeds supply.
Maintain lifecycle data in ERP systems and manage visibility for
commercial teams. Conduct multi-site, multi-level planning to align
supply with broader objectives. Collaborate with sales, accounting,
fulfillment, and IT teams to identify opportunities and implement
supply chain solutions. Present insights and recommendations to
executive teams using fact-based analysis. Profile 10 years of
planning experience in a distribution or retail supply chain
environment. Proven leadership experience in consumer goods,
electronics, or retail distribution. Bachelor's degree in Supply
Chain, Operations, or related field. PMP or project management
certification is a plus. 3-5 years of experience in retail
operations, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain
consulting. 2-4 years of experience in supply chain strategy,
financial analysis, or process improvement. Advanced proficiency in
Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication and
presentation skills with experience briefing executive teams.
Demonstrated ability to develop business cases and drive
