would love to have you join us in the Content Platform team to
build the systems, services, and applications to ingest, manage and
understand the video content available on Prime Video. As a Sr.
Software Development Engineer and a part of the Prime Video Core
Engineering team, you will work on designing and developing the
systems and infrastructures used by Amazon millions of customers
worldwide and will regularly interact with senior leadership. You
will help to build our technology vision and mentor a growing and
high-performing engineering team towards achieving a focused
mission. To accomplish this, you will be expected to have an
established background in building highly scalable systems and
system design, great communication skills, and a motivation to
achieve results in a fast paced environment. You should be somebody
who enjoys working on complex system software, is customer-centric,
and feels strongly about connecting customer problems through
underlying scalable software that raises the bar on customer and
operational goals. Experience with building and operating web-based
applications and/or web services-based applications, especially at
massive scale, will be very applicable and helpful. We care about

QUALIFICATIONS- 5 years of non-internship professional software
development experience - 5 years of programming with at least one
software programming language experience - 5 years of leading
design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling)
of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor,
tech lead or leading an engineering team PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS-
5 years of full software development life cycle, including coding
standards, code reviews, source control management, build
processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree

the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base
pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest
geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic
market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market
location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,
and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent
