Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence. Manage case files, organize and analyze large volumes of construction documents, and maintain document databases. Coordinate and track inspections, site visits, and expert evaluations. Summarize depositions, expert reports, and other key case materials. Conduct legal and factual research related to construction standards, building codes, and project specifications. Interface with clients, insurance carriers, construction professionals, and expert witnesses. Prepare for mediations, arbitrations, and trials, including compiling exhibits and trial binders. Monitor case deadlines and assist in docket management. Qualifications: Minimum of 3–5 years of paralegal experience in construction defect litigation. Strong understanding of construction terminology, trades, and building systems. Familiarity with SB800 (if applicable by jurisdiction) and insurance coverage issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
