Job Description Job Description Family Law Attorney Family Law Attorney Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and will provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in matters concerning divorce, child custody, domestic violence, and related issues. The attorney will work towards achieving favorable outcomes for clients while navigating sensitive family dynamics. Key Responsibilities Provide legal representation in family law matters such as divorce, child custody, and domestic violence cases. Advise clients on their legal rights and responsibilities in family law issues. Prepare and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements. Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients during mediation and court proceedings. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law statutes and relevant case law. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with compassionate support throughout their legal journey. Qualifications Jurisdictional license to practice law as a Family Law Attorney. Demonstrated experience in family law, particularly in child custody, domestic violence, and divorce cases. CFLS (Certified Family Law Specialist) designation preferred but not required. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive family issues with empathy and professionalism. Proven track record of successful case outcomes in family law. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
