Job Description:
The Buyer Planner is responsible for identifying requirements,
purchasing, and negotiating materials, equipment and supplies, and
evaluating vendor quotes and services to ensure they are compatible
with organization objectives. This position will oversee purchasing
logs and records to ensure accuracy and follow through, and monitor
quality of goods by reviewing costs, schedules, timeliness of
delivery, and conformance to specifications. This role is
responsible for achieving objectives while exhibiting Storm
Industries Core Values. Periodic Functions include: · Participate
in Material Review Board as required to resolve supplier quality
issues. · Participate and attend monthly Sales and Operations
Planning meetings. · Prepare and attend production meetings. ·
