Job Description:
The Director of Supply Chain will be responsible for developing
and executing a supply chain strategy that ensures efficiency,
cost-effectiveness, and scalability while supporting our growth and
customer satisfaction goals. This role will lead a cross-functional
team and work closely with internal departments and external
partners to manage procurement, logistics, inventory, demand
planning, and supplier relationships. Client Details My client is a
growing food & beverage brand based in San Diego, known for our
commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. As we scale,
we're looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Supply Chain
to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations-from
sourcing and production planning to warehousing and distribution.
Description Director of Supply Chain Responsibilities: Develop and
oversee the entire supply chain strategy, aligning with company
goals and growth plans. Lead procurement and sourcing efforts to
ensure high-quality, cost-effective ingredients and materials.
Manage demand and production planning to balance inventory levels
and meet customer demand. Optimize inventory management and
forecasting processes. Oversee warehousing and 3PL relationships to
ensure on-time delivery and order fulfillment. Identify and
implement process improvements to drive efficiency, reduce costs,
and mitigate risks. Collaborate with operations, finance, R&D,
and commercial teams to align supply chain activities with broader
business objectives. Develop KPIs and reporting tools to track
performance, lead times, and cost metrics. Ensure compliance with
food safety regulations, sustainability initiatives, and ethical
sourcing standards. Profile Director of Supply Chain
Qualifications: 8-12 years of supply chain experience, with 3 years
in a leadership role, ideally in the food & beverage or CPG
industry. Proven experience managing a high-growth supply chain in
a fast-paced environment. Deep knowledge of procurement, logistics,
inventory planning, and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or
similar). Experience working with co-manufacturers, 3PLs, and
ingredient suppliers. Strong analytical, leadership, and
problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and a
collaborative mindset. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain,
Operations, Business, or related field (MBA preferred). Not for New
