Marketing and Communications Coordinator
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles has been an active

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will support the
Director of Marketing and Communications with all Habitat for
Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) marketing,
communications, public relations, and event related efforts. This
role will help manage the coordination, creation, implementation
and management of Habitat LA marketing strategies, campaigns,
messaging, branding, social media, website, media production and
The Marketing and Communication Coordinator is responsible for
keeping the department functioning at maximum efficiency as well as
brand integrity, internal and external messaging, and media
relations support. The position will employ administrative and
digital marketing strategies to support Habitat LA and our target

design, and public relations needs for Habitat LA.
Support with social media management including responding to
comments, answering messages, engaging with partner/donor social
media content, etc.
Manage project requests from other departments.
Manage vendors and vendor-related requests.
Track metrics for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram,
LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube) and Habitat LA website.
Coordinate staff and volunteer training on affiliate branding,
including guidelines, standards, and implementation.
Manage/organize monthly expenses.
Coordinate the implementation of marketing plans, campaigns, and
strategies for all Habitat LA departments, events and third-party
Support the management and creation of all collateral materials for
Habitat LA messaging (departments, events, campaigns,
Schedule, and monitor all Habitat LA social media sites to ensure
that messaging is on point with affiliate image, provide reports
and recommendations based on analytics.
Organize and maintain all donor recognition, promotional items and
signage for affiliate.
Coordinate the work of contract web developers, social media
influencers and media crews to produce media content for the

campaigns through messaging, communications, media, marketing and
1-2 years of social media marketing and communication experience in
non-profit, entertainment, media and/or agency.
4-year degree in Marketing or related field
Basic HTML, website design and management (WordPress) a plus
Microsoft Office, Adobe, All social media platforms
