Job Description:
A company is looking for an Insurance Specialist 2 responsible
for managing outstanding insurance balances on hospital or
physician patient accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned insurance receivables to meet productivity and cash
recovery goals
Perform account research and ensure documentation for account
resolution is accurate and compliant
Maintain compliance with client standards and federal regulations
while documenting all account interactions
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Basic computer skills and familiarity with patient accounting
software
Ability to navigate and perform research within client host
systems
Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to collections
and phone calls
Commitment to ongoing education and training in industry
standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
