White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in beautiful La Jolla, CA, is seeking individuals to join our wait staff team. Part Time: Thursday and Friday 11:15 a.m. - 7:15 p.m. & Saturday, Sunday, Monday 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Pay Range: $18.50 - $21.00 Job Duties: Greet residents and guests as they arrive in the dining room; Record food and beverage orders and input into POS system; Complete bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as needed or assigned; Set up, clear and clean dining room ensuring tables are clean and disinfected (as appropriate); Take orders, serve food and beverages; Provide effective and courteous service to all residents, guests, vendors and fellow team members; Take note of safety concerns and needed repairs and report to supervisor; Responsible for adhering to HIPPA privacy rules and company policies; Requirements: Fast food or restaurant experience preferred; Experience working with seniors preferred; Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification preferred; Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) with residents; Available on holidays, evenings and weekends Mission Essential You would display behavior that supports the mission, vision, behaviors, and values of HumanGood.
