Job Description:
Job Description Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla has served
the greater San Diego community since 1924. For more than a
century, we continue to provide distinguished care, including
several nationally ranked specialty programs. Scripps La Jolla was
the first in San Diego to be designated a Magnet Hospital by the
American Nursing Association. Scripps La Jolla shares a campus with
the Barbey Family Emergency and Trauma Center, a Level I Trauma
Center, and the renowned Prebys Cardiovascular Institute. We’re
also home to notable specialty programs, including cancer care,
heart surgery, orthopedic surgery, labor and delivery services
(including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit) and a
nationally designated Comprehensive Stroke Center. This is a
benefited, part time position generally working varied weekdays
from 6:30am-3pm or 8am-4:30pm. Hours will vary as needed. Located

assistants. What you'll do: - Ensure Scripps patients and their
families have an exceptional health care experience. - Provides
direct patient care within the scope of practice. - Patient care
includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks,
triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols
and medication administration. - Works collaboratively with the
other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient
care. - Must be compassionate and empathetic. Required
Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: - ADN or Nursing Diploma
Required Certification/Registration: - CA RN license - BLS through
the American Heart Association - ACLS through the American Heart
Association Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized

Position Pay Range: $51.66-$74.92/hour
